Profile of Matthew Crow

Matthew Crow is the author of Ashes (published by Legend Press in 2010) and My Dearest Jonah (out on 1st May 2012).

Matthew Crow was born in North Shields in 1987. At the age of 16 he moved in with family in Darlington to complete his A-levels at a better Sixth Form College. During his teens Matthew freelanced for several online magazines writing pop reviews, which led him to move to London to work freelance.

Matthew quickly secured a literary agent and is one of the most exciting writers of his generation. Matthew currently lives in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

His debut novel Ashes was described as a cross between Hamlet and Shameless.
