Many thanks to the hundreds of people who have submitted fabulous short stories for our 2008 collection, the third in our acclaimed 'Short Story Reinvented' series. The response has been amazing and of incredibly high quality.
We had hoped to have responded to all entrants by now but because of the high numbers of submissions, coupled with a backlog in our novel submissions process as well, we haven't quite finished reading all the stories yet. We'll let everyone know at the same time when we have come to our final decision. Sorry for the wait and thank you for your patience!
In the meantime, if you haven't yet read the first two collections in the series (Seven Days and The Remarkable Everyday) why not take advantage of our special short fiction Christmas gift set? It's available now via our online shop.

Aah! The long wait. I am relieved to know time is being taken to make the decision. No rush jobs here! Ha!
Can't wait to here the news. It's so nerve wracking though, the waiting.
I hope Santa helps. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Being one of the many hundreds of authors anxiously awaiting the news, I'm glad to hear you're taking your time reading the entries!
I mentioned this to Santa the other day, along with a hint that such news would make a wonderful Christmas gift! He said he might stop by in his spare time and give you a helping hand getting the entries read. ;-)
