Happy New Year to everyone by the way! Was interested to note that William Coles, author of hugely-popular The Well-Tempered Clavier, had had some more coverage and this time through the University of Bristol Alumni - see here I think I noticed this particularly as the novel features the love affair between a student at Eton College and his female piano teacher. Seeing this mention in the Alumni is a reminder of Bill's own student days. Secondly I noticed – 'BA 1986'. Sure Mr Coles described himself as late-twenties on first meeting... Only joking of course.
