I was delighted to see this morning that Juliet Doyle has posted an amazing review of Salt & Honey by Candi Miller on her great Musings from a Muddy Island blog.
Juliet describes how the African-set novel, featuring Koba, a young Bushgirl displaced from her Kalahari desert-tribe, 'contrived to transport me into a vast world of enormous beauty, terrible horrors and, for me at least, discovery on many levels, and its effect as 'really quite overwhelming'.
