I'm flying to Ireland first thing tomorrow morning (Sunday) for meetings all day Monday with the Irish book chains and some of the main independents. The Irish book market is very interesting at the moment and with Legend Press's growing list and profile it is time the Legendary publishing revolution spread to Ireland in addition to the UK. Should hopefully be a big step forward for the company.
Look forward to meeting all the buyers, to working with them and seeing our great books in the shops, and also to a pint or two of the Irish speciality while I'm over there.
Tom

Hey Tom, are you back in London yet? Still hung over?

Hold it in my hands, wave it in the air, bash people over the head with it…

Doesn't it feel amazing? Can't wait to hold that book in my hands...

Alcohol tends to turn my legs to treacle, but strangely my mouth still works fine (as anyone who was in the region of Kensal library a fortnight ago will remember).

depends how short I've been caught, Josie...

Is that the bar stool, Mark?

As someone who visits Cork at least twice a year, I'd advise Tom to drink Murphys instead of that other brew. Still turns your stools to treacle, but less alarmingly...

Have a good time Tom, can't believe I never got a business trip when I worked for you. You timed this one just right didn't you?!

Drinking Guinness and visiting bookshops. Sounds like a mighty fine way to spend a day or several.
If you want to do a massive Legend promotional event over there, give us a shout. Sounds like me and Josie are up for discussing literature with potential readers over a couple of pints of the black stuff. Haven't been to Ireland for a few years. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.

I'll have a Guinness, but like the Murphy's I'm not bitter.
