Harrison Dextrose in Borders' Discovery Bay
It was a nice surprise yesterday to see Borders have included the unspeakably brilliant IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF HARRISON DEXTROSE by Nick Griffiths in their Discovery Bay - to quote: 'Fantastic new authors who's books you are yet to read and discover.'
Not sure if that should be 'who's' or 'whose', but still another great promo idea by Borders and nice to see they (rightly) love Dextrose.
And if you haven't already ordered, read, reread a copy, surely you must realise that you're missing out and get straight onto it now? Twice top selling book on Amazon and Times pick, no less.

Great stuff! Discovery Bay sounds like one of the settings in the book. Perhaps peopled by intrepid explorers. Or maybe I’m giving too much away for the next adventure?

Nice idea! When I eventually find the time to write the follow-up, I shall try to remember!

I wonder where you found the inspiration for the names of places and boats. I loved the unsmoked haddock. It’s taken me this long to work out High Yawl – Hi Y’all! dur

Hi Josie - lovely to see you last night, sorry didn't get to talk properly. The names are generally, as one reviewer put it, "dreadful puns". My faves are the Mortivika tribe and the island of Yamda Wolwus. Good luck with the launch and media stardom!
