James Higgerson first came to Legend Press's attention after coming 2nd in the 2008 Luke Bitmead Bursary. We are delighted to be working with James on his debut novel and excited to launch such a talented and dynamic new author.
A combination of confession, humour and regret, The Almost Lizard is a story of modern mental-illness and everyday manipulation in media obsessed society.
James was born in the West Midlands and currently lives in Manchester, where he is in his final year of a PhD on European Urban Health at The University of Manchester.
